Dr. Joe Rampersad

President

Growing up in a military household instilled in them values of perseverance and responsibility. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications from Chowan University, Joseph began his career at Roanoke-Chowan Community College. He later pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from American InterContinental University and a Ph.D. in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health. Transitioning to the YMCA of South Hampton Roads in 2019, Joseph now serves as the Executive Director for the Blocker Family YMCA, where he's revitalized donor impact, fostered community relationships, and significantly increased financial resilience. Guided by mentors like Dr. Edward Dadez, who instilled in him the value of service and leadership as an Eagle Scout, Joseph is committed to paying it forward and fostering positive change in the world.

Abbot Isaac Camacho O.S.B.

Treasurer

For the past 35 years, Abbot Isaac, a Benedictine monk, has devoted himself to spiritual growth and service. His journey began in Mexico City, where he pursued studies before answering his calling to monastic life. Immersing himself in the teachings of the Benedictine order at Saint John’s Abbey, he furthered his education with a Master's degree in theology from Saint Meinrad, followed by priesthood studies at Saint Vincent Archabbey. Serving five years at Saint Mark parish in Tampa, Florida, he provided pastoral care before being elected Abbot of Saint Leo Abbey in 2007. In his leadership role, Abbot Isaac continues to embody Benedictine values, guiding the community with compassion and wisdom towards spiritual growth and communal harmony.

Mallory Lynn Babcock

Secretary

Meet Mallory, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of enriching experience working with children. For the past 9 years, Mallory has dedicated herself to United Community and Family Services as a Family Engagement Specialist. With a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies and certifications in Circle of Security, Child Development Associate, and Trauma Training (ARC), Mallory ensures the highest level of care and support for those she serves. Beyond her professional role, Mallory finds her most meaningful fulfillment in cherished moments spent with her nieces and nephew. These connections are the heart of her life, enriching her in ways no certification ever could. Whether hitting the slopes on a snowboarding adventure or simply enjoying quality time together, Mallory’s devotion to family shines bright, illuminating her path both personally and professionally.

Executive Director

As the CEO of MeritBadgeCourses.com, Michael Dadez brings over 19 years of diverse experience in higher education, encompassing roles in IT, Marketing, Web Design, and Social Media. In tandem, he serves as a full-time evaluator for Western Governors University, focusing on ensuring the quality of educational programs. Passionate about innovation and excellence, Michael is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences through technology and strategic marketing initiatives, empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in the dynamic realm of higher education.
